Southern Rep. Theater and Forum For Equality (Louisiana’s statewide LGBT advocacy organization) are presenting a “stage reading” of the hit play “8” based on transcripts from the CA Prop 8 “same-sex marriage” courtroom proceedings) to a New Orleans audience for a one night only performance.

Academy Award winning writer (“Milk”), Dustin Lance Black, writer of “8” will fly to New Orleans and attend a pre-performance cocktail party benefiting NOAIDS, Project Lazarus, PFLAG, HRC & FFE as well as lead a question and answer session at the conclusion of the performance.  Everything is in place however sponsors are needed.

  • Performance: Sunday April 21st, 2013 7:00pm
  • Location: Civic Theatre (newly refurbished) – entrance on O’Keefe
  • Ticket prices: $15 (age25&under-2nd balcony) $30 (1st balcony) & $50 (orchestra)
  • Pre-performance cocktail party 5:00-6:30pm with DLB: $100 (includes reserved orchestra section seating)
