About The Gay Dad Project
Amie Shea and Erin Best Margolin founded The Gay Dad Project in an effort to help families like theirs to cope. The project is a multi-platform, interactive online forum where people with a parent or spouse who has come out can read, share, and interact with stories and personal testimonies from those facing similar situations. As such, The Gay Dad Project acts as a resource and safe-haven for both the national and international public. The project will produce a feature-length documentary film, already in production and slated to premiere in Winter 2013. The film will explore issues surrounding the family dynamic, and will feature families and individuals with LGBT-identified parents and spouses. Co-founder Erin Best Margolin will be giving a presentation with video clips and answering questions at both events. For more information about the project please visit: http://www.gaydadproject.org.

Support
Contributions for the project will help fund production costs for the documentary. As the project’s partner, checks should be made payable to The Forum for Equality noting The Gay Dad Project in the memo. If you cannot attend, please feel free to contribute to the project to help these worthwhile stories be told. All funds will go towards The Gay Dad Project and/or The Gay Dad Project film.
