Giving Tuesday‘Tis the season to give! Today is #GivingTuesday, a day for celebrating generosity, giving, and making a difference. Around the world, people of all stripes celebrate this new tradition by supporting the causes they care about. Get into the holiday spirit by giving a gift to Forum for Equality today.

Your gift will help us continue our important work of fighting for full equality for ALL Louisianans!

“The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each other’s burdens, easing others’ loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of the holidays.”
– W. C. Jones

2014 was a monumental year! We protected our hard-won non-discrimination protections in Shreveport by defeating a hateful repeal effort. We continued our work of educating political and community leaders to expand protections in all parishes and in the state legislature. And we filed a federal lawsuit to bring marriage equality to Louisiana, a process which, if needed, we will to see through to victory at the Supreme Court of the United States!

We need your support to strengthen our ability to make a difference in protecting and advancing basic human rights in Louisiana. As we enter the commotion and joy of the holiday season, thank you for taking a moment to give the gift of equality by donating to Forum for Equality today!

Happy holidays, and happy giving!

Yours in equality,
