Who Deserves Acclaim?

It’s that time again… We are gearing up for the Acclaim Awards Gala! The Acclaim Awards are Forum for Equality’s opportunity to celebrate the people working across Louisiana to make this state fairer and more equitable. This year’s Acclaim Awards Gala will be on Saturday, September 26, 2015, so save the date!

Do you know someone that has contributed to the LGBT community here in Louisiana? In previous years, Forum for Equality has honored individuals and organizations in Arts & Entertainment, Media, Health, Faith and Equality, Political Activism, and Political Leadership.

As always, we want you to help decide who deserves acclaim! Please let us know by email which individuals or organizations you think we should fête.

Send your nominations to sarahjane@forumforequality.org. Include your name and contact information along with a short paragraph highlighting the contributions the individual or organization has made over the years.

If you have any questions, please contact SarahJane, Executive Director. Nominations are due before Friday, June 19th 5:00PM.

Yours in Equality,

SarahJane E. Brady

About Forum For Equality

The Forum For Equality is a statewide human rights organization dedicated to the establishment of a society free from discrimination and to the support of good government. We believe that the fastest and most efficient way to achieve these goals is to educate our communities and to constructively participate in the political process.
